This update ensures that zeros cannot be entered or saved in the Number of Portions and Portion Size fields for your Recipes.
Additionally, if an existing Recipe contains zeros in either of these fields, the Save as Stock Item function will not be available until the zeros are replaced.
Why the change?
This change is necessary because Recipes containing zeros cannot be accurately reported and we want to help you get the most out of the system. Accurate Recipe data is essential for effective Recipe reporting and menu costing.
What about my existing Recipes?
If you have "0" saved in these fields for any of your existing Recipes, these will soon be automatically replaced with "1" in a future update.
Before the update we will reach out to you with list of affected Recipes and instructions to help you decide how to proceed.
