We're updating the way you retrieve sales data from your Square account
What’s changing?
From Thursday, 31 March 2022, changes to how we retrieve sales data from Square will be implemented. CTB AND CO. is moving away from a deprecated endpoint in line with Square’s recommendations by shifting to their Orders API.
This change will result an enhanced capability to retrieve sales data, and ensures ongoing support for the Square platform.
What do I need to do?
On Thursday, 31 March 2022, you will be required to reconnect to your Square account and provide CTB AND CO. with permission to read your orders from Square. Simply navigate to the Integration page and select the Square logo, then click the Configure button for your integration and click Disconnect. Once disconnected, click Connect to be directed to Square’s login page. After logging in to your Square account, you will be prompted to allow CTB AND CO. to access your Square orders:
Please then proceed through the integration workflow fully to save your configuration.
This step will need to be completed for each Square integration, even if you have multiple CTB AND CO. integrations with the same Square account.
Users who do not update their permissions for CTB AND CO. on the above date will no longer be able to retrieve sales data from their Square account. If required, you may manually transfer any missed revenue using the Test Sales Transfer feature when configuring your integration.
I need further assistance, who do I contact?
