How to Place an Order Directly to PFD's Ordering System

About Direct Ordering
PFD Food Services have collaborated with us to integrate an ordering API that allows your Purchase Orders to be seamlessly sent directly to their ordering system. This streamlined process enhances efficiency in order processing and delivery.
How to Enable PFD Direct Ordering
Please note: You will need your PFD Food Services Customer Account Number to complete these steps.
From the navigation bar, expand the Admin heading and open the Address Book page:
Select your PFD Food Services Supplier from the panel on the left:
Navigate to the Supplier Detail tab, enter your Customer Account Number and click Save:
Please note: The Customer Account Number should be set individually at each Outlet.
Navigate to the Supplier Settings tab and scroll down to Direct Order Supplier Link. Select PFD V2 from the dropdown menu:
Hit Save and you're done! Sending a Purchase Order from CTB AND CO. will now place the order directly in PFD Food Services ordering system.
Purchase Order Warnings and Error Messages
When placing your Purchase Order, PFD's ordering system may respond with an error or warning message. These responses can relate to an invalid Customer Account Number, your delivery date, or an outage to PFD's ordering system.
Invalid Customer Account Number
This message means that your Customer Account Number was not found in PFD's ordering system:
Check that it was entered correctly by finding PFD in your Address Book, and checking the Customer Account Number field:
If this looks correct then you will need to reach out to PFD for further assistance.
Delivery Date Warning
If you send an order using a Delivery Date that does not match PFD's availability then PFD will accept your order and assign a Delivery Date as close to your requested date as possible:
Delivery Date Error
If you attempt to send an order with a Delivery Date too far outside of the available date range you will receive a notification listing PFD's availability:
To send your order you must first amend your Delivery Date. Click Revise Purchase Order and select a new date that aligns with PFD's availability:
Alternatively, if you receive this notification and you believe you should be able to order for your selected date, you may opt to send the Purchase Order via email using the Send Purchase Order as Email button. However, we would recommend confirming with PFD that the order has been received and manually entered.
PFD Ordering System Outage
This message means our system was unable to connect to PFD's ordering system. This means that PFD may be experiencing an outage and cannot receive any orders:
To submit your order, click the Send Purchase Order as Email button, which will allow you to send your order via email instead. Make sure to confirm with PFD that the order has been received and manually entered.
