CTB AND CO. is pleased to announce the release of Predictive Ordering!

Cards

This new feature allows users to predict a Purchase Order using existing operational data from your account to generate stock and ordering quantities at the click of a button.

How does Predictive Ordering work?

First up, make sure your ducks are in a row and look over your CTB AND CO. data. Predictive Ordering looks at a lot of information to ensure your order makes sense. This feature can check Wastage, Recipes, Sales history, Par Levels, Revenue Budgets existing Purchase Orders and much more to give you the best result.

Predictive Ordering also requires Sales Data retrieved via your POS provider to be imported to your Outlet, so contact us today to get integrated!

With your database looking healthy, Predictive Ordering will do the heavy lifting when creating a new Purchase Order by generating stock and ordering quantities using a uniquely designed workflow, or by quickly applying your Default Settings.

How do I get predicting?

Administrators will now be able to find a new Predictive Ordering tab under their Settings page which controls the feature for each Outlet. Tick the Enable Predictive Ordering checkbox and set up your Default Settings, then click Save:

You'll also need to update your User Authorities to Access Predictive Ordering (found under the Stock group) for any users that intend to access this feature:

Need help with updating Settings or User Authorities? Check our Predictive Ordering Settings and Modifying User Authorities guides for further details.

And that's it! Go create a new Purchase Order (or prepare one from our fancy new Scheduled Orders Drawer) and click the Predict button!
